Sometime back in August, I had the opportunity to go on a staycation with my husband at Lloyd's Inn. Staycations are great for short breaks and for quick recharge. It also enables us to have more time to bond, minus the housework and work stress that we face every single day.
Lloyd's inn is located in the heart of Orchard Road, but you don't have to pay a huge premium for it.
Dressed in simplicity and focused on giving you a comfortable place like home. Nothing's too over, just a quiet place in the heart of the city for you to chill and relax (Chillax) with your other half or hangout with friends.
The Queen sized bed is dressed in nothing fancilful, just totally white sheets, simple but comfortable enough for a good night's rest.
If you booked the sky room, there is an open air bathroom where you can soak and relax while watching the clouds go by.
Take a shower under the rain shower "outdoors" when you draw the curtains.
Complimentry water is provided in the room.
Ammenties such as a smart TV to enable you to watch TV and surf the net is available. A safe box is also available in the room with a decent table and space for some work if you need.
Go up to the pantry and you can purchase some canned soft drinks from the vending machine. You can also get some fresh coffee or milo from their coffee machine. The best thing now comes free.
Take a dip in the small pool or just hang around and relax in the natural environment.
Relax outdoors, grab some magazines or have a chat with friends by the swinging chairs.
Most rooms comes with breakfast if you have purchased. We choose a traditional breakfast from the famous Killiney coffee shop.
Yukatas for you?
We love staycations!
Please note that Lloyds Inn did not approach me for this review. I did it voluntarily as we are there and I found the place really relaxing and worth sharing.
