Brands Tangkwei with Essence of Chicken ~ Rescue you from the irksome monthly cramps
7/01/2012I am so happy and honored to be sponsored by Watson's Singapore for this lovely trial of 6 bottles of Brands Tangkwei with Essence of Chicken for evaluation. Frankly speaking i hesitate for quite awhile before deciding to go for it. I Would like to say a big thank you to Watson's Singapore for this.
Why? I am fearful of the smell and taste of chicken essence. I believe many of you are too! However, i took up the challenge and went for it.
I took BRAND’S® Tangkwei with Essence of Chicken usually at night before i go to bed and in the morning before i head out for work after my meals. I prefer to take it before i go to bed as it is easier, no rush and i can take my time to finish my bottle.
I highly recommend you to take it warm as it is easier to stomach as the smell is not so strong.
And so i diligently took it for 6days with the supervision of my husband. He knows that i have serious cramp issues and made sure i finish my 6 bottles! Seriously speaking, this is no miracle pill and many of such health products have to be taken continuously.
So here's how i felt.
- My hands and feet feels much warmer
- My appetite increases, i felt i ate more
- My fatigue and tiresome body was stronger
- I felt more energetic at work
I will share with you more on my next post on what i experienced during my menstrual cycle.
Some sharing of the benefits:
"Benefits of BRAND’S® Tangkwei with Essence of Chicken is an all natural herbal supplement for women made from a superior concoction of chicken essence and Tangkwei. Known as a ‘blood herb’, Tangkwei has been used by generations of women to help ease the discomforts experienced during their menstrual cycle. Rich in iron, magnesium and vitamins B1, B2 and E, it is generally used to improve blood circulation and replenish blood loss. It is also beneficial in relieving your body from tiredness. Combined with BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken, it helps the body’s absorption of the nutrients from Tangkwei and increases the tonifying effects. Furthermore, scientific research has proven that BRAND’S ® Essence of Chicken improves iron status by improving its absorption and mobilization from iron stores in the body, especially helpful during your menstrual cycle when greater iron loss occurs. Yes i am aware of all these wonderful benefits, so let me tell you my experience before i begin this trial journey. This is how bad my cramps really are! (For real):
1. Giddy spells and nauseous feeling
2. Blood Clots
3. Leg cramps
4. Stomach cramps/pain
5. Cold hands and legs
6. Cold Sweat
7. No appetite
8. No mood , easily frustrated and moody
9. Tiredness and fatigue
10. Feel Weak
Do you feel the same way too? Do you react like me?
Medication:
I've taken and am still taking all sorts of strong pain killers to the extend that my doctor had to prescribe me something meant for arthritis pain. He told me it was 10x a panadol pill. It was no joke. I've tried taking Panadol, Panadol for menstrual cramps too, but nothing works. I've taken all sorts of "Bai Feng Wan" too. I gave up, and i don't really know if they work because it is so tedious to follow through and they are so expensive.
Supplements:
Many people actually advice that Evening Primrose Oil works, I've asked my doctor but wasn't recommended so i didn't try. I've tried to run, tried to go swimming before my cramps.
Exercise:
Swimming does help, but there isn't any pool near my place now. :( So these are some things you may want to do. I heard yoga and stretching exercises does help too! Do them before your cramps not during. Have a good and regular exercising routine.
Internal help:
Take warm water during your cramps.
External help:
Have a heat pack with you. (You can get them from Daiso for just $2 a pack). Or the traditional water heat pack where you put in warm water and place above your tummy.
These are how the heat pack looks like. You can get them from places selling winter wear too.
These are the hot water bag available at Watsons, Guardian or your neighborhood pharmacies and local stores. You can check them out.
That's all for now. I will share with you my experience during my menstrual cramps in the next post.
