Event: Times Book Store Opening at Punggol Waterway

Following the opening of Times Book Store in Marina Square in 2015, we soon see the opening of Times Book Store, now in Punggol Waterway Point.
Times Book Store in Punggol Waterway is so far their biggest lifestyle concept bookstore. Being the 7th store since their launch in Singapore, the bookstore spans a floor area of about 7,335 sq ft with dedicated section for children, lifestyle products and a workshop area, it is now more than just your regular bookstore.

You should be now familiar with its bright cheerful hues of orange complimented with its warm brown hues of wood structure and trims which seems to be welcoming you into their store. Be it for the children or the adults, we are sure you will find something you like within the lifestyle store.
Do take this opportunity to bond with your children over lots of upcoming activities and workshops within the store.
One key highlight of the new Times Waterway Point bookstore is the children's section, Times Junior, which spans an unprecedented floor space of over 1,600 sq ft.
Times Junior features not only educational books, activity books and educational toys for the young, but also offers a conducive and fun area within, for children to read or interact with other children.
Bring out that child within you and enter the castle to fuel up your reading adventure!
Children can pick up any of their favorite books from any of the shelves and begin on their reading adventures. The right corner features the current hits which are the Disney series books. The isle along this area are also widely designed so that prams can go through easily. How sweet!
Story-telling sessions are also held at this area where a lady is doing some craft work for children so do check out their Facebook page for regular updates.
Check out these comfortable lady bugs where children can sit on when they do their reading. They have been gaining quite some popularity as children and adults have been flocking in to take an Instagram worthy photograph with them. Check them out the next time you pop by the store.

Check out the girl with her Elmo craft which looks like a bath sponge. She had so much fun helping to make this little craft with the help of the help to the craft assistant. I'm sure more of such activities will be held here from time to time, so do follow their Facebook for more information. I was told that the craft set can be purchased too, so if you are interested do drop by the store to enquire about it.
That evening, we saw some Disney inspired characters spring to life! See who we have here? We have Anna and Elsa. We also saw Superman and some other characters as we were walking around the store. Some children were also dressed in Disney characters.
Look at this wall of inspiring quote just beside the magazine rack. It totally captured my attention.
Tracy and I managed to get a bottle of our very own Nila Aromatherapy oils for de-stressing and a better sleep. You can check out their products in Times Book Store.
Tracy and I then went on to another booth to have our "bookmarks" made. We thought it looked more like a hand phone charm and had the straps to match our hand phone covers.
What's a bookstore without racks of books? Check out the popular titles around the rows of books along the isle.

There is also the 600 sq ft island-style Lifestyle Section that can be converted into a dedicated space for workshops, activities or educational classes. Some of the upcoming activities planned include children story-telling, financial workshops, cooking demonstrations and arts & craft sessions.
There are many other interesting lifestyle items in the shop such as these figurines.
I spotted this ordinary notebook made extraordinary with some drawings. I'm always inspired to start something like this on my own, well the only thing is cannot draw. Haha...
Perhaps I can make a mini book like these? Who knows...
