Its been a long while since I've reviewed any facial mask. I used to do a lot of such mask reviews back in my earlier blogging days. I've used mask of all types ranging from the ordinary mask sheets, to cloth types in the beauty salon, to cream, mud, snail mask, sleep on mask etc. Come to think of it, we are really spoiled for choices.
Masking is a popular and relatively fast procedure used by us ladies to pamper ourselves, relax our eyes and take a short break from our daily routine activities. The common outcome is often a moisturized, bouncy, clear and supple face. Most of these mask sheets which we used comes from Taiwan and Japan, but not this one I am introducing to you today.

Usage Directions:
1. After cleansing your face, carefully remove the thinner protective film from both the top and bottom masks to expose the smooth surface*.
2. Apply the smooth side of the masks to your face.
3. Remove the thicker protective film and adjust fit on top and bottom masks to the curves of your face.
4. After 30 minutes, remove the mask and discard. Gently pat your face with fingertips to help skin absorb the remaining essence.
*The hydrogel mask sheets have a smooth and textured surface. Applying the textured side on the face may cause discomfort. If so, do switch over to the smooth side.

There 3 layers in the mask. The hydrogel mask in in between 2 protective films. I guess the films helps to retain moisture and make it easier for you to place the mask on your face, and for hygiene purposes.
Mask are separated into top and bottom. I like this idea as I find it easier to place the mask on my face and it will fall in place nicely as compared to 1 single whole sheet.
Trying to fit the mask nicely on my face for maximum comfort and benefits. Do it part by part.
Tada! Nicely fitted on my face.
Take a close look at the hydrogel mask. I love the jelly smooth texture and the cool feel when i placed it on my face.(I refrigerate my mask beforehand for that cooling sensation)
I am looking much more refreshed and awake after masking! Ignore those dark eye circles and my ugly pimples. My face feels so supple and bouncy after using the Nourish Me hydrogel mask and there were no sensitive reaction or outbreak even until the next day!
Thoughts:
☆I like the texture of the hydrogel mask and the idea that they separate the top and bottom pieces for easy fit.
☆These mask does not have any scent on them, making it more friendly on a sensitive face like mine.
☆The hydrogel mask retains moisture very well. They feel wet before masking but I feel the mask serum is transferred to my skin after masking because they are dry when I removed them after 30 minutes of masking.
☆They come in a very beautiful package, well decorated (the usage directions are in Korean, but there is English translation on the back of the box which makes up for it.)
☆It is quite costly to pay $4.80 for a mask sheet, but these are made of hydrogel and they feel so pampering for my face.
☆ Results varies from person to person. Immediate results cannot be witnessed therefore regular care for your face is important, so is regular masking.
☆ Nourish Me and After Shower Look, does nourishes my face as it proclaims, giving it ample hydration and moisture. I can't decide which I like better, whearas Black and White Flim Star felt a little tight when placed on my face but no dramatic whitening effects were witnessed after one use. No adverse effects were witnessed during and after all mask usage and they felt really comfortable that I can fall asleep anytime when masking.
