Walt Disney's characters were spotted on Innisfree products this year. I spotted my favorite Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse on their 2020 skincare products. From their Jeju Orchid Enriched set, to Bijia Cica Balms, hand moisturizers, face mist and lip balms to nail polishes. I have never tried these particular range of products before but I own products from their Jeju Cherry Blossom Line which carries scent that lingers lightly on their skincare.

I am currently using the remaining quarter of this precious essence, from my 75ml bottle of this holy essence decked in their original plain packaging, during my nightly skincare regime. I am thankful for the bright and clear skin which they had since blessed me with.

Who knows? Maybe I can get a bottle of this with my Angpao money if they still had stocks after the Lunar New Year.

These are what I've purchased using $50SGD. Most of the items are beauty items and two of them are skincare products. Althea KR has the most affordably priced items and their shipping is always fast. I was very surprised to receive my haul in 2-3 working days despite the holiday season.


Etude House Real Powder Cushion SPF50+/PA+++ ($21)

I love the cushion compacts from Etude house and by now owned quite a few different types of them. I always repurchase these products and stock them up, because they are like my daily staples, and provides me with a good make-up base. Besides that, most of the cushion compacts comes with a high SPF factor which helps keep the UV rays away. So I can just put them on, along with my favourite lip colour and I am all set to go.


Etude House Colour My Brows ($6)

I've been reading raving reviews on this product so I was very excited to be finally trying it out on my brows. I've always worried about the brow colour turning out too light. This colour was just right for me, it was very lasting and quick drying. Despite me perspiring when I was outdoors, it stayed where it is supposed to be, even when i sometimes forgot and wiped my perspiration off, the colour stayed on well on my eye brows.


Etude House Fix and Fix Primer Tone-UP ($15)

My initial thought was to get the primer in various colours to try on, but remembered reading that the mint primer would help to soothe redness on my skin, hence I have chosen the mint primer. I use it more as a concealer to conceal my eczema spots on my forehead as well as some pimply areas of my skin and the side of nose. This worked well to tone down the redness, softening the spot and making it easier to apply my cushion but failed to blend away the spot.


The Face Shop Rice Water Bright, Foaming Cleanser ($7)

You've read so much about the benefits of washing your face with rice water right? This cleanser foams up easily and remove all the dirt without ripping my skin's moisture. Like what they have said, you'll be hooked after using this. For just $7 a tube, i think its money very well spend, plus the husband gets to share this with me.


Lebaton Aloe Soothing Essence Mask ($1)

Do you know what to do when you wish to round up your purchases? Grab some mask. They are usually $1-$2 a piece in Althea and you get to pick from plenty of them. I've chosen the Aloe Vera mask that helps sooth my skin in this super hot weather.

Its time to unbox the November's Nylon X Vanity Trove box. Beauty products can never come late and there can never be too many of them. One word of advice thou, use the products soon as they are still new and fresh, rather than keep them for later use (which later, often never comes or only comes when the product has expired).




November's box has about 9 brands in it. Spotted something interesting which is The History of WHOO Gongjinhyang. A box in a box, pretty awesome isn't it?

 

History of WHOO Gongjinhyang, it is my first encounter with this korean brand. It reminds me of Sulwhasoo because of its elegant packaging. This is a whitening special set that has a skin balancer, whitening lotion and  moisture cream.



Bioderma Sensibio H2O is a decent make-up removing water that is suitable for the sensitive skin. I have always used this during my sessions at beauty salons. I love it that the sample was in a 20ml bottle. 

While the Decorte Lipsome is a treatment lotion that enhances the cell structure for maximum absorption and retention of ingredients, it also clarifies and plums up your skin.

Here comes Shiseido with the Hair care Luminoforce mask to pamper my lovely tresses. These products are usually salon grade, so we are very luck to get it in the VanityTrove.



Next up is the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel which I have reviewed before and is well loved and raved by many fellow bloggers. This small bottle makes it handy for bringing to the office or short trips.

The Laneige Water Bank Essence.EX is also a popular moisturizing essence which will work to give you a hydrated skin. Intercosmo Ilmagnifico is an interesting hair mask spray that offers you 10 benefits:
