Its the time of the year again! In a few more weeks, we shall be ushering Christmas. We will feast on roast turkey, bacon, toast, dine to our heart's content, and officially chill till the end of the year. For those of you whom are looking for presents for your colleagues, for kids and Christmas parties,  you should pop by Sophisca and find check out some of their novelty items and bring the Christmas "feel" back home.

By the way, we heard that they will be officially launching these rice pops next year. They taste pretty good and flavourful, so buy some for your friends and family, I am quite sure they will like it.



Finally, if there's just one thing which you would like to get for me this Christmas, it has to be the Lipstick Chocolate that comes in 6 assorted colours. We just can't take our eyes of them. I wouldn't be sure if I would eat them as they looked too real and are too precious to be bitten off.

Sophisca have recently opened a new outlet in Changi Airport Terminal 3, #B2-42. The new store design comes from tourism and cultural icons of Taiwan such as the Taiwan 101, Taroko National Park as well as Kenting Eluanbi Lighthouse.

To celebrate its new outlet, from now till 30 June 2016, Sophisca is giving away a $10 Voucher for ever $60 spent.

Prior to this, I attended their outlet opening in Marina Square. During the outlet opening, I was attracted by a wall of colourful tiles, otherwise known as the True Words Chocolate. 




These True Words tiles are Sophisca's signature sweet chocolate which retails at $2.90 per tile (with 3 pieces of chocolate packed separately), you may choose to purchase them in a box of 4.



If you are looking at something unique with a taste of Singapore as a gift to your international friends, do consider giving this uniquely themed True Words - "Singapore Style" chocolate to them. Do note that these can only be found in Singapore. 



Pick from familiar colloquial like "Huat ah", "Paisei", "Kiasu" and many others out of the newly launched 16 tiles. 


 
Others in the collection includes some of Singapore's architecture and buildings such as the Merlion and Changi Control Tower which you can mix and match according to your preference. I love those "I ❤SG" series" too! You can mix these with the normal True Words range of chocolates if you find that these are too patriotic.




Each small box contains 3 pieces of the "True Words" say it on chocolate.



Oh, these chocolates taste so good I can vouch for them. I just ate some of those in strawberry and normal chocolate.



Don't need to feel "Paiseh" (embarrassed), go ahead and be "Kiasu" (Afraid of losing out), be "stylo milo" (fashionable/stylish), I already share such a good "Lobang" (deal) with you, wait no longer and grab yourself these "Shiok" (feeling great) chocolates today! ❤

April is coming! What comes to your mind when you think of April? If the inner child in you is yanking to prank on someone this April's Fool Day then I might just have something up my sleeves waiting for you. Read on.

This store, which is their third store, is located in Marina Square Shopping Mall, beside the Pororo Park on level 2. The other 2 stores are at Changi Airport T3 and Ion Orchard respectively.

All products are designed and manufactured in the brand's very own factories in Nantou, Taiwan and are ISO 2002, HACCAP certified so you can be sure of their quality. They have established themselves as Taiwan's beloved and top confectionery retailer.

Just in time for April Fool's day, Sophisca has launched some interesting "tricking treats", along with their other classics. You can quote my name "Pearly Tan" at any of their stores during payment to get 10% off all Sophisca products. Promotion is valid till 20 May 2016.





Crayon Candy Sticks $9.90

Pass some of these "crayon" to your friends and trick them to draw on the canvas. Just joking! Don't be deceived by their packaging. These crayons are delectable candies which comes in 12 assorted flavors which comprises of the Honey Peach, Tropical Fruit, Mandarin Orange, Pomelo, Lemon, Green Apple, Mint, Blueberry, Grape, Strawberry, Chocolate and Yoghurt.



Brown Rice "Sushi bento" $11.90

Craving for some Japanese Sushi? Why not treat your friends to this box of 25 dainty chocolate brown rice crispy treats, which are disguised as a party tray of sushi. They are made from 100% natural brown rice smothered with Belgium-imported white chocolate. These are suitable for the health conscious as they are full of vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber!

Coloring Pens $17.90

These water color look-alike comes in 6 different colors which tasted like white chocolate, lemon chocolate, honeydew, strawberry, blue berry and milk chocolate respectively.



You can decorate your cookies and bakes with them. The talented Tracy decorated her cookie with it.

If you cannot decide what exactly to purchase, you can get these assorted sweets.



Or perhaps a smiley face to cheer up a friend who is feeling stress from work? A simple gesture like this means so much.



Check out the lollipop which I found on their special buys rack. Reward your child with this if he/she have done a something well this week. Simple rewards makes children happy and they don't cost too much.



If you love fruits and fancy an authentic Taiwanese packaging, check these sweets in their "fruits carton". These looks so adorable. I will keep the boxes if someone gift me these.



These sweets look interesting too! Anyone fancy some "shit" candy? If your colleague loves to pass additional work to you, you can consider buying these for them.


Steven Chow inspired medicated ointment look-alike candies seems also interesting. If your employee always goes on sick leave, perhaps you can give this to them.



Check out the novelty Sophie pads and first aid kit. These are all edible candies, don't worry! I think they really make good prank gifts if you are out to embarrasses your friends. You can pass them one during the time of the month if they forgot to bring one.



These makes good prank gifts for bridal games. I think one will feel so embarrassed receiving them.



For your money faced friends maybe?



These are one of my favorites because of their fancy packaging. They are chocolates and they have some packaging that are tailored to the Taiwan and others exclusive to the Singapore market.

Why not get a little amulet for the friend who is going for their major exam?



You can give this to your husband who has been neglecting you. These might give him some obvious "hints".



I am loving this diva heels chocolate which looked so elegant, but I seriously doubt I'll eat, it looked too good.

Its the Month of March 2016 and in a few days time we will march on to the month of April. This month, we bloggers seems to be plagued by the hoo-ha over IRAS's sudden need for us to declare income tax for sponsored products and services when we are not even paid for doing them. I shall leave this to another day when I finally have the time to sit down and ponder over it.

March seem to be a rather busy and fast month where I largely celebrated my childhood times once again. Of special mention is my invitation to Uncle Ringo, where I get to play 10 different Carnival games.



My husband and I also took this opportunity to visit the 25 light installations over at i-Lights at Marina Bay for the second time since it started. If I had to compare, I feel that this year's installation is a tad disappointing as most of the installations was either too difficult to understand, already spoiled by the time we were there, or not set up yet.



I was very blessed this month by my blogger friend Danessa to be able to bless Tracy and her friend Rose with 2 tickets to the Disney on Ice Festival, where once again, we got to be a child at heart seeing our favorite Disney characters come to live. I've always wanted to watch this, so count my blessings! What felt better was the ability to be blessed, and also bless others. The show have ended but you can read about it on my blog.



Meanwhile, new stocks for my health tea sponsor Hi-Tea have arrived so you will be expecting more reviews of their loose tea on the blog. I feel very blessed to be sponsored this healthy beverage.
