Beauty in the Pot by paradise group is a new hotpot experience designed for the healthy and beauty conscious people. It is newly opened in OneKM Mall. Night Owls rejoice! Oriental looking, very spacious and comfortable looking. While we waited quite a while for someone to come out and serve us.

flavours coupled with abundant benefits. An extensive menu of fresh
ingredients and homemade specialties are also specially selected by the
culinary team, for a heavenly match.Delight in a whole new experience of satisfying your taste buds in a uniquely mysterious ambience. Emphasising on the perfect balance of Yin and Yang, which is representative of good health, the interior décor of Beauty in the Pot encompasses dark louvered panels with a variety of feature lights to create a casual and private dining environment suitable for all occasions.

Over 60 items and two nourishing soup bases, designed by Chef How and his team of chefs.Believing in the utmost importance of soup base for the best enjoyment of hotpot, the culinary team devotes long hours and meticulous attention to the creation of the dense beauty collagen soup and spicy nourishing soup (with three levels of spiciness). Offering also the twin flavours broth, guests can now enjoy the best of both worlds.
A variety of fresh ingredients and homemade specialties ranging from meat and seafood to vegetables and homemade paste are also prepared with excellent knife skills to heighten the dining pleasure. Exclusively available at Beauty in the Pot is the homemade Fish Tofu, which is prepared daily for the ideal melt-in-your-mouth texture.

The Twin flavours broth or otherwise known as Yin Yang Guo. Left (Mildly spicy soup base made from herbs and pork bone) Right - (Original, beauty collagen soup base made from chinese herbs and pork bone)

The mildy spiced soup broth was quite spicy for me to handle. So.. be warned unless you really love spicy soup. There's 3 level of spicyness level for you to choose from.
Initially we thought these were barley water, until we asked the staff. It is broth used for refilling the soup base.
Sauce for you to mix and match for your dishes. I didn't really enjoyed any of the sauce. Only the thai chilly sauce tasted okay for me. $4 Free Flow (They shouldn't really be charging for the sauce but the trade off is that there is no service charge, yippie!)
Assorted platter of foods. Top Assorted Balls Platter $12 , Left Sliced pork belly $6, Bamboo Shoot $3, Assorted Dumplings Platter $10
Love the tenderness of the sliced pork belly, but couldn't quite taste the difference from the assorted balls after they are all mixed together. I also find the dumpling skin a little too thick.
Sliced Chicken Tigh $5
Fried Beancurd Skin $2.50, Crispy and nice, good for soaking up the soup base.
Fried Fish Skin $5, Good on its own as it is very crispy.
Signature Home Made Fish Tofu $5.40, Highly recomended as melts in the mouth
Live Drunken Prawn ($11) - These are really alive and jumping and have to be rest to sit for about 15 minutes before they get drunk and we cook them. Thats why your mum says never get drunk.. the results are disastrous...
And there are cooked! Don't overcook them! Will be a real pity!
Other than those mentioned food, we also have the romaine lettuce $2.50, Scallop paste $12 and the warm fruit tea $5 per pot. We have a whole tabl8e of yummy food!
F.O.C Complimentary Yuzu Dessert - Super refreshing and great to remove all the grease from your heavy meal.
The service at this oultlet is top notch and we are very satisfied. We don't mind coming back again, we will order lesser food the next round.
