Dear Readers, You should know by now that I am a big fan of beauty subscription boxes. I have tried various different boxes and this time round we are going to un-box the VanityTrove X Nylon box for the month of September/October.



I love the classic black packaging cover which makes this look like a book.



Look at all these awesome goodies. The better news is that it does not contain a single sachet. All of these items are reasonably sized properly packaged. No leakage, no unpleasant  or nasty first impressions.

I spotted at least 10 brands straight away and there are things for the hair, for the face, and something to make you smell good. 

I see brands like, John Freda, Etude House, Belief, HadaLabo, Infinity Kose, Astalift, Bedhead, L'oreal and some others. Items that are mostly new in the market to help me feel good and look good!

First up, for the Face.



Belif face products which consist of the Hungarian Water essence and aqua bomb. Belif is recently doing quite well in the Singapore market. We are no stranger to this popular korean skincare brand.



HadaLabo Hydrating Lotion. 

My recent skincare regime consist of this popular and natural product from Japan. Did you know that the lotion is made from eye drops, that is why it is so gentle to the skin? I only knew that after i attended one of their events held recently. I was surprised.


INFINITY KOSÉ Pure Advanced Deep Clear Mask

If you recently noticed an increase in visible pores, this is a sign that your skin is beginning to change due to aging.

Taking countermeasures before they start to cause wrinkles and sagging will be necessary.
Pure advance cares for pores that have opened due to dryness, sagging pores, and blackheads caused by sebum and dirt, creating hydrated elastic skin that appears pore less.


I am surprised to see big brands like Kose in this box. Its great to get samples from big brands as they can be very costly, and if they don't suit you it is rather wasteful. So samples like these really helps determine if they are suitable for me. Besides, they are great when traveling.




Illamasqua Lipstick and Hydra Veil

I am quite surprise to receive a lipstick in purple...now what should I do with it?
These highly-pigmented lipsticks have intense colour payoff that last all day and are enrinched with Vitamin E. Lips now stay soft and kissable throughout the day. For a satin finish, go for Glamore Lipstick, otherwise, finish your look with a strong matte lip.

Etude House Moistfull Collagen products. Another popular brand from Korea. I have used Etude house products before and they are amazing. I am sure these will work really well too!




Make Over Mask by BRTC. I have never tried this brand nor seen this before so that is something worth trying! Will update the space when I finally try this.




Astalift Moisture Foam and a $10 voucher.

Next, we have products for the hair.



This is a strong hold, buildable hairspray which is suitable for all hair types.

I am not really a fan of hair sprays but my husband is, so will most probably pass it to him after trying out once haha.



John Frieda Brillant Brunette colour protecting Moisturising shampoo and conditioner. I love the hair products from this brand. Tried them previously and still using them. This one is for colour protecting, suitable for people with dyed hair. Will pass it too.



L'oreal Elseve Extraordinary Oil. I have always wanted to try out this hair oil. Finally have the chance now.



Follizin Cleanser and moisturizer, scalp and hair care can now be done at home. The product originates from USA, i've never seen this brand before. Initially i thought these were facial products as they were interestingly labeled as Cleanser and Moisturizer.



Last but not least, for your Body, the Adidas Climacool a 48 hour body spray to keep you cool all day long and keep your perspiration away.
