Event: Launch of LGV40 ThinQ
2/28/2019
LG recently unveiled their latest phone, the LG V40 ThinQ. I was invited to the phone launch with an afternoon of fun-filled golfing activities at Holey Moley Mini Indoor Mini Golf course, as the guest explored and learned about the amazing features of this multimedia powerhouse device which is specially designed for today's generation of storytellers, who communicate with visuals and videos.

About LG V40 ThinQ

Retaining the V series design philosophy, it has an improved 6.4-inch FullVision OLED display and even slimmer bezels than before.
The V40ThinQ is the first LG phone to carry the Audio Tuned by Meridian label. The 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC produces a balanced sound signature that comes extremely close to the quality of an original recording.
At the various mini golf experiential zones, guest gets a feel of the powerful camera features of the LG V40 ThinQ through the photographs taken by the event staff.
These photos make use of the Cine Shot feature creating cinemagraphs – images with animation – incredibly easy and fun. Simply shoot a short video with any of the phone’s three rear cameras and “paint” the area to be animated with a finger. Notice closely that only the golf balls in the photographs are moving. Jas and I had lots of fun as we laughed our ways through each zone and was put to test on our golfing skills!
This particular photograph on the other hand, made use of Story Shot to create fun photo composites.
Simply choose a background image from existing photos in the photo gallery, or take a new backdrop with the smartphone. Then users can take a selfie which will superimpose them onto the background photo. Now you can be practically anywhere, with any background.
The Triple Shot feature stitches together the images captured with each of the three lenses into a short video file for easy sharing.
