Mei Shan Tea Seed Superior Camellia Oil ~ Adds fragrance to your dishes

With the recent cranky dry and humid weather on top of our unhealthy lifestyle (late nights and stressful life), we are prone to falling ill. How can we take better care of ourselves? The answer is simple, through what we eat. As they say, we are what we eat. We definitely try to cook our meals as much as possible.
Since young, my mother had been very particular about the type of cooking oil we used at home because almost of the dishes we prepare (from stir-frying to deep frying, pasta dishes etc) requires the use of cooking oil.
We have been using sunflower, canola and olive oil for cooking, before I came to learn about Mei Shan Tea Seed Superior Camellia Oil.
Thanks to Sample Store for bringing in more products from Taiwan where I get to try more interesting and exciting products. This is the first time I heard about this type of oil.
First Impressions:
I love the glass drip bottle which allows me to use it directly. I also love their packaging, which spruce up my kitchen. It looks like a bottle of wine from a distance.
Mei Shan Tea Seed, Superior Camellia Oil (Halal Certified)
➼ Contains mono-unsaturated fatty acids with the highest value in vegetable oil
➼ Zero Cholesterol content
➼ Contains essential fatty acids and omega 3
➼ Has low acid value and is able to meet the national standard CNS
➼ No pesticide residue or aflatoxin nor added antioxidants and trans-fatty acids
➼Adopts the original and natural compression method with no chemical residues that will harm the human health
➼Suitable for woman before and after child birth
➼Suitable for long-term use, easy to clean as it will not cause grease build-up in the kitchen
➼Small oil molecules for easy absorption by the skin and hair
➼ You can even drink it raw
Usage
➼ Suitable to be used raw (making salad)
➼ Suitable for stir frying, boiling (preparing both Chinese and Western dishes)
➼ Smoking point is at 209 degrees Celsius, produces high stability and high temperature tolerance
My simple Chinese home cook dishes using Mei Shan Tea Seed Superior Camellia Oil
Mei Shan Tea Seed Superior Camellia Oil doesn't have any unique taste to it but I do love its "tea fragrance" when cooking. It has a very unique Tea like fragrance unlike typical flower oils which do not have give you any scent when you cook. However, you can't smell it in your dish after cooking.
Give it a try for yourself and I believe you will like it too!
