4/12/2022 What comes to your mind, when we say celebration? To us, it had to be having a cake! Hubby and I celebrates April in a special way every year because it's our special month. April is the month when we first decided that we should get together, April is our love month, although essentially every month is. This April is no different, we decided we should have a cake. Not just any other ordinary cake but these... something unique, instagram-able, memorable, and something that made us feels special.

We were so torn with the selection of our anniversary cake because we were so spoiled with choices, everything looked so lovely and unique, but we end up with a white, whimsical and dreamy Golden Wings cake, with these delicate wings, just like our love's journey! It's simple, sweet and filled with love for each other. It entails of our golden moments, and symbolizes of our love taking flight, since more than a decade ago.
Their cakes are offered in mainly 2 sizes, the classic 4'' and 6''. You can also choose from a variety of flavors like double chocolate, cookie butter, strawberry shortcake, chocolate salted caramel and so many others, or top up another ($5) for their lemon curd, pure vanilla bean or earl grey lavender flavours.
We decided on salted caramel for our anniversary cake. It felt so cruel to have to cut through such a gorgeous looking cake but look at each layers of the cake and the salted caramel cake so well distributed and thoughtfully made. The cake was moist, not too sweet, not overly creamy and most importantly tasted very good too. The salty sweet flavour was very well balanced.

We decided on the Mermaid Ombre Swirl cupcake for our desert table because of the presentation and there is just something about these tails that captured my attention. The tails were also edible as they are made out of white chocolates! Hubby decided on Vanilla Raspberry for this one.
As the flavor of the cake was concentrated in the center portion, you will only get to taste it towards the end, but it makes the cupcake taste less sweet. The texture of the cupcakes was also unlike the usual sponge cakes, it was quite tasty as well, it tasted familiar but not like your typical cupcakes. They looked really good and whimsical with the flashy pearls and matches our main cake well.
Our overall experience was a really good one. They were very careful when delivering the cakes and they were on time. The cakes were very well packaged and presented. Not only did the cakes looked beautiful, we could tell that the bakers were very thoughtful on every part of the process as well, ensuring that the cakes were delivered perfectly and tasted good.
