I visited Kudos by Headlines Hairdressing back in 2021 to try out their services when they first opened! You can read more about my previous experience here. It's been 4 years since and I finally made my way back. It does feels like going home, just that this time it was not Ken who helped me with my hair, I was assigned to Shawn whom, nevertheless, did a great job! Thank you. I am so grateful to Kudos Headlines Hairdressing for saving my damaged hair.

Prior to my visit, I had my last hair cut in Feb 2024 where I did a short, layered cut and later dyed it to a shade of natural brown in Jun 2024. I initially planned to keep my hair long so that I could do a big wave curl, therefore I had deliberately left it alone. It took me almost a year to grow from short to long hair. I wonder where had all the nutrients which I've been eating gone?

As my hair was quite damaged after the previous dye, it became drier and drier as days goes by despite me trying on home treatment shampoos myself and diligently applying serums and hair oils.

I was very excited to try out the Rinka Aqua Care Treatment after reading about its benefits. This treatment is said to be able to tame frizzy hair, strengthen damaged hair, without using strong chemicals and most importantly, this treatment is lasting (up to 6 months depending on how damage is your hair). With so many benefits and looking at my severely damaged hair, I just had to try it.

After the Rinka Aqua Care Treatment, I could already feel that my hair is more tamed and less frizzy. It feels very soft and silky too. Shawn then proceeds to straighten my hair with a flat iron. I haven't seen my hair looking so straight for a long while now because they were very limp and fray after a year of leaving them unattended. My bad, I feel so sorry for neglecting my hair.

As I told Shawn that I wanted big curls, and he told me it wasn't possible to do it due to my hair condition at the moment, he proposed to make my hair less curled, so I trusted him and left them in his good hands, and I am glad I did.

Look at the final result of my hair after just 1 treatment! My hair feels much softer and neater with the fray ends trimmed. The also feels stronger and I look so feminine now. Guess I am really suited for curls! Although nothing had been done to my almost 8-month-old hair colour, they had somehow seemed to come back to life after the treatment as well. I am so glad that I made the right decision to go for this treatment!
