I am not sure when Singaporeans started to join in the craze of steamboat eating other than during the Chinese New Year festive season. However, everyone seems to love having steamboat as it is considered as relatively easy to prepare as you don't need to be a great chef to prepare steamboat. 

It is also a great way to bond with your family and friends during the steamboat session. While we love eating them, many of us don't really enjoy going around shopping for the ingredients which are required, and what's worse, we tend to overbuy food causing wastage when we are unable to finish them.

Both the lotion and the moisturizer had a similar scent. I like the "lightness" of the lotion as well. I find that the lotion acts as a double cleanse for my skin before I apply my moisturizer on and the moisturizer gets absorbed relatively quicker, then if I were to jump to my moisturizer straight away.

I've also tried adding this duo to my other skincare products. They worked perfectly well. Now i have one more variant to try on from Bioderma, one of my favourite skincare brands.

This product is actually one of my favorite despite the many products shared as I am a very firm believer of investing in a good sunscreen. This could be because I have very fair skin and I tend to get pigmentation easily. You can even apply the product over your eyes, over your make-up and there is no need to touch up the product at all even if you are outside.



A volunteer had Astalift White Perfect UV Clear Solution applied to one side of  her face and the other side was left uncovered. She mentioned that she used a sunblock on her skin. Under the UV light, we can witness so clearly that the Astalift White Perfect UV Clear Solution is still visible on her while her own sunscreen is "gone" by the time the scan was done.

I later went on to had a chat with Jason and he shared about one workshop participant who challenged him to the UV scan, only to realised that the only reason why his UV sunscreen was so lasting was because she was using the Astalift White Perfect UV Clear Solution and was making fun of him.
