Beauty Product Launch Event: Nuxe Nirvanesque - The Botantical alternative to Botox held at Bliss House

I am happy to be invited to the Nuxe Nirvanesque event at the beautiful Bliss Theme Restaurant.
Bliss House Theme Restaurant is conveniently located in Clark Quay Central, just few minutes walk from the Clark Quay Mrt station.
Its such a lovely setting and a perfect dating place for couples and a gathering place for friends!
The fireplace sure looks real!
These are the 4 products launched from the Nuxe Nirvanesque series. These range of skin care is tailored for woman in their 30's to 40's as they start to show their first wrinkles, otherwise known as the first expression lines.

Nuxe Trainer Ms Corinne Morice, giving a talk about their products and history of Nuxe Nirvanesque.
Sat with these wonderful bloggers and discussed our thoughts on the product range and had fun goofing a little, having our polaroids taken.
The first wrinkles are formed as a result of overdose of micro-stress and micro-tensions that translate into expression lines.
Along with the introduction of Nuxe Nirvanesque products, we get a cup of interesting welcome drink, tea with marshmallow which contains some of the floral ingredients used in the products. - This is sweetness overload.
History of the Nirvanesque series
Nuxe first started this range of products back in 2004 with the concept of Floral Neuro- Cosmetics, which is offering woman the euphoria of the destressed skin pampered by divine textures and an intoxicating heavenly scent.
In 2013, the Nuxe discovered a natural active ingredient that gave rise to the New Nirvanesque. It is the tree peony extract.
The 2013 Natural Nirvanesque solutions
The double effect Neuto-Cosemtic action is the marriage of :
1) A new neuro-relaxing action with concentrated exract of the Tree Peony Root
2) A neuro-destressing action with a complex of Blue Lotus Seed, Poppy Seed, and Althea Root to reduce the skin's micro-tensions.
Other than carring a euphoric name, products in this range:
- Have an anti-depressant texture for ease of application and active ingredient penetration
- Have a heady fragrance
- Is effective to user, relaxing their skin hence smooths first expression lines and brighten complexion.
One will also note that they have changed their own glass jar to the plastic ones to be environmentally friendly. The new light weight plastic jar is a welcomed change.

Nirvanesque Light ($75 for 50ml)
- Suitable for combination skin
- Gives you a matt finish
- Cream is enriched with matifying Rice Powder and Enantia Chlorantha for reducing sebum
- Skin is immediately relaxed and more matt, smoothed and more relax.
- Cotains Peony, Althea roots, Poppy and Blue Lotus Seeds
My thoughts: Cream does not feel oily and does not leave any color stains on skin. Light and is easily absorbed into skin. It has a very gentle floral fragrance coming from the Peony flower i reckon. My favorite of the creams!
First Wrinkle Smoothing (Normal Skin) ($75 for 50ml)
-Cream is enriched with Musk Rose Oil to combat hydrating and anti-wrinkle properties.
- Skin is immediately de-stressed and hydrated.
My thoughts: This cream smells of rose oil and is slightly oily. The fragrance from the rose oil lingers on even after the cream is fully absorbed by the skin.
Nirvanesque Yeux ($58 for 15ml)
- Cream is thin and non-greasy, contains a cocktail of specific active ingredients to correct pigments and caffeine to fight dark circles, ultra hydrating hyaluronic acid of natural origin to reinforce smoothing effect.
-Skin looks refreshed, eye contours are relaxed and de-stressed.
My thoughts: The Nirvanesque Yeux cream has a light fragrance which goes off after the cream is absorbed into the skin. It does not feel oily at all, very light on the skin and easily absorbed.
Our goodbye soda drink which we are supposed to add rose caramel syrup for a better taste along with some light snacks, cakes and Althea root jelly.
